Next week, students will be creating large "touch and feel" maps of Alberta. This weekend, their homework is to collect materials to represent Alberta's regions, landforms, vegetation, bodies of water and interesting places. Some ideas for materials include:
-fabric -patterned/coloured paper -buttons -stickers -pipecleaners -thread/string -cardboard -feathers -glitter glue -pop bottle lids -leaves -coloured tape -egg cartons I will supply students with poster paper, cardboard, and some felt, as well as scissors/markers/glue etc. All the other creative materials need to be brought in from home no later than Tuesday September 24. *If students have their own hot glue gun that parents allow them to use, they may bring that in as well. :)Mrs. Rowein
