Our Sports Day will run from 11:00am - 12:30pm on Friday June 21. We'll begin with a short assembly at 10:45am to discuss the organization and expectations with students, and we'll leave directly from the gym to begin. There will be a choice of different activities that students can try. They are encouraged to try as many different stations as possible. Kindergarten students are welcome to join us and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
In conjunction with our bike rodeo, we'll also have stations set up where students can ride through bike "obstacle courses" on the school field. Students that have bikes and helmets are encouraged to bring them to school to participate in the bike course stations. There will be a refreshment station that will be offering all beef hot dogs and a juice box (limit of one hot dog and juice box per child). We will have a teachers vs Grade 6 students soccer game, so keep that in mind if you'd like to join us. Please ask if you have any questions about the Sports Day morning. We're looking forward to a fun and active end to the school year!

Tomorrow morning, teachers will meet students between 8:15 and 8:30 at Rosscarrock Community Centre to take part in Calgary's Bike to School Day. You can bike, walk, or scoot. Just make sure you wear a helmet and follow safety rules! We can't wait to see how many kids come out!
