The past two days in Math, students have been learning about ordering numbers, and identifying which number is least or greatest. We have started using learning targets so that students are more aware of their learning goals.
In Language Arts, we have been focusing on reader responses. Yesterday we read the book, "When I was Eight" about a young girls experience at residential schools. It was a heartfelt story that brought up many different feelings. It also connected to Orange Shirt Day, which is happening at our school tomorrow. In Social Studies students are working on planning their iMovies about Alberta. Next week they will spending lots of time using technology to create their digital masterpieces! Reminders: Orange Shirt Day Thursday! Terry Fox Run Friday! Spelling Test Friday!
