Today started out great as we began our day with some fun word scrambles that got our brains going early in the morning. We followed that up with taking notes on the different landscapes and geography that is found in Alberta. In music class we learned a fun game involving cups and playing different rhythms. In Science class we imagined what the world would look like if there was no human waste in it but only waste that was organic. We tested our throwing accuracy in P.E. with our bean bag toss and were impressed at the skill of our classmates. Math was a lot of fun as we played a game where we tried to create the number given by Mr. Abma out of base 10 blocks as well as drawing it out on a whiteboard.
Our 3/4's have made an agreement that if every student brings in 1$, then the students will get to soak Mr. Abma and Mrs. Rowein on the day of the Terry Fox assembly. We hope to see the first donations to cancer research come in soon!
